Millennials (also known as the Millennial Generation or Generation Y) are the demographic cohort following Generation X. There are no precise dates when the generation starts and ends; most researchers and commentators use birth years ranging from the early 1980s to the early 2000s.

Millennials now hold one in every three jobs and with this new wave of leaders comes a new philosophy for training them. As they take over positions from Gen X, businesses are adapting their training methods to more successfully engage with their younger employees.
Future success now depends on the ability to inspire, harvest and unleash the potential of these employees in the workplace. Better performance is seen over the long term when individuals can see how their training benefits them personally from the very beginning. An impact must be seen immediately whilst being interesting, as well as relevant and practical. Organisations that are embracing the leadership potential of Millennials tend to be faster to adapt to the rapidly-changing business climate and achieve more profitability.

It has been said that millennial and non-millennials are somehow different in the way they see leadership but we believe the fundamentals they need to learn and practice are the same – and our delivery method works very effectively for both. The difference is in the experience they have had to date in their careers and their understanding of the softer skills required to make an impact whilst functioning effectively in a work environment. The dilemma of all ‘Millennial’ programmes is how to quickly and cost effectively develop high performance traits which will translate into the key soft skills essential for effective leadership. The restraints of day to day work demands on each and every employee necessitates that a course must be short, flexible and clearly impactful and relevant.

We have created a range of innovative and exciting programmes that are guaranteed to generate effective, instant and aspirational learning and development in participants. They are designed to engage participants instantly, enabling them to quickly understand the key skills required to succeed and lead in every high performance team and, allow them to practice and develop their abilities as well as recognising where their strengths and weaknesses lie. At the end of each programme participants leave with a personal action plan that ensures they have a tangible and credible analysis of what they need to do to improve their personal performance, ideas on how they will achieve this with a clear timescale and measurement for success.
